FABRIC MATERIAL
- Type A: made of polypropylene, CaCO3, UV and other additives. It is used to transport non-flammable products in non-flammable environments.
- Type B: made from the same fabric as Type A but with an additional thin coating that creates gaps between fabric layers, thereby breaking the voltage (less than 6kV) that accumulates in the FIBC fabric.
- Type C: or bulk conductive bag, made from polypropylene fabric interwoven with carbon fiber. It can be used to safely transport flammable powders in environments with flammable solvents or gases. It must be grounded during charging and discharging.
- Type D: also known as bulk dissipation bag, is made from a special fabric that can automatically dissipate static electricity into the atmosphere. It can be used to safely transport flammable powders in environments with solvents and flammable gases without the need for grounding.
LEVEL OF HYGIENE
- Construction: bulk bags are used in the construction industry.
Industry: standard clean bags, can be used in many different industries without contact with food. - Food grade: no recycling of materials is allowed, incoming raw materials must be FDA compliant and the manufacturing process needs to be certified to produce bulk bags suitable for food contact.
- Pharmaceuticals: input materials and production processes require certification to produce suitable bulk bags with high content levels (e.g. baby formula, products used in the medical industry, etc.).
PRODUCT CONTENT
- Non-dangerous goods: Bags used to transport non-dangerous goods (also known as non-UN bags) will comply with International standards (such as ISO 21898:2004, AS 3668:1989, JIS L 1096: 2010, etc.)
- Dangerous goods: bags used to transport dangerous goods (also called UN bags) according to the UN Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods. Six inspections were performed internally to verify the quality of these bulk bags before being sent to an external testing facility for certification. All UN bulk bags come with a valid certificate and the certificate information needs to be printed on the bag.
